Q: The window closes after some seconds and the program ends itself.
Your license has expired. The launch window therefore closes and shows an error text together with a code on the status line. The 3D Driving-School wil be closed automatically after several seconds.
Was your personal licence file installed either not or in a false directory?

If the code is similar to 1002-XX (where XX is a two-digit number) you should remove the save-Files from the program-directory and restart the 3D Driving-School:
del \*.sav
Q: The licensed program finishes after a few seconds under Windows Vista™
It runs, but you have to have sufficent access right in Windows Vista™: Choose a login with administrator rights to install and run the software. If running is only possible with guest-prviledges you can buy a guest license in our online-shop.
Q: I cannot select "Free Drive!"
You can - but only with an a little driving experience. An exercise is released for a "free driving" if you have gone through until end. All routes will be released when at least 3 exercises have gone through until end. This is independent of whether the exercise was finished successfully or not.
Q: How can I install other languages?
You can upgrade the program with other languages like German, French or Dutch. You find the entry " 3D Driving-School Update" in the Windows menu. A voice packet will be installed in addition to English from the Internet. Then the language can be changed by selecting another driving instructor in the registration menu.
Q: The route announcements aren't correct, I lose my way always!
It is like doing a real driving lesson. You must make sure by all means that
you are either driving straight ahead or following the main street without hearing
announcements. If you still cannot orientate yourself, simply switch on the
direction
support. The yellow/blue arrow will show you the direction at every junction
in which you must come out. The Return key will also
help you: it shows the junctions crossed since the last driving instructor announcement.
By the way, the routes through Paris are a little bit tricky - think carefully.
Q: What shall I do if I leave the route ?
After some meters a dialog
appears. There you can decide whether the journey shall be continued. You also
can return (press "Repeat") into the scheduled route. Additionally
the city-map
of the navigation system can support you to drive on.
Q: The missing interior mirror look permanently is griped
In the expert
mode you must stick to the allowed
sequences before each junction. However, at very narrow junctions this not
checked (e.g. in exercise 6).
The test is always carried out at the time of pressing the space bar for the interior mirror. This key must be pressed in front of every junction.
| Q: I cannot recognize any graphic, everything is white! If your picture looks just like on the right side, this is due to your graphics card. 3D fog ranges aren't supported correctly at some graphics cards like
ATI, Voodoo, or Radeon. Change to the Wanting the fog effects to be switched off on your 3D graphics card enable
the "OFF" option. Another possibility would be the update of the graphics card driver in your Windows. Contact the internet page of the card manufacturer anyway and look for "Device driver updates". |

Q: I wouldn't like to be always stopped at red traffic lights either
Dear rowdies: go to options menu and deactivate rule
support...
Q: I have driven all exercises and nevertheless I cannot take any examination.
The examination is only possible if you have passed all exercises in the Expert-Mode.
In addition, the complete score mustn't be higher than 60.
Tip 1:
Try the small route-set only
national first.
Tip 2:
By the way, if you passed the examination successfully you would have a hight
start-score in the police-game
(only Europe-Edition).
Q: I lost the track across the fields on the country-road
The track across the fields with the caravan is directly behind Seeberg. This is the brown-lined way in the navigation system map.
Q: The siren doesn't always go
It is different whether you are driving in the game or in a driving course:
chase
the siren can work. You must have
selected a vehicle having a flashing
blue light (if necessary mobile flashing blue light).Q: In the game, sometimes the siren or the map doesn't work
Both costs points! If you don't have enough points, the appropriate function won't be executed either.
Q: Where is Amsterdam, are there new towns?
At the moment, Amsterdam isn't in the preparation and therefore available not yet.
Q: Why can't one rebuild Gobesdorf on English traffic rules?
With tab-panel tap-panel
"Traffic rules" rebuilt is only possible to countries where cars
drive on the right lane too. To train driving on the left, at first you select
reoute-set
"Europe" first. Then choose one of our London routes from the
exercises 15 to 17.
Q: The steering wheel doesn't work.
Check whether the steering wheel or the joy-stick is installed
correctly under Windows. Change to Start/Settings/System Control
and check the entry under gaming-options. Check the steering wheel/joy-stick
options.
Q: The Logitech G25 steering wheel doesn't work correctly
Correct - but a software update is in preparation, special for G25. The update will be free for all customers.
Q: I have a steering wheel but no Windows device driver. The brake doesn't work!
For example using Microsoft's Sidewinder™ steering wheel without original Sidewinder™-driver-software, Windows puts the brake on the Z axis. You recognize this fact when reading only "Human Interface Device" in the Windows gaming-controller dialog. Then you can only steer and accelerate, not brake, however.
For this reason you can modify the kind of the steering wheel support afterwards:
tab-panel "Steering"If not, HID should be turned off absolutely.
Q: The 3D animation jerks in the full screen mode under Windows Xp or Vista
This effect can be cleared when running 3D Driving-School
in window mode. Select the choice 3D Driving-School
(Window)" from the start menu.
Q: Despite graphics accelerator the 3D driving school runs very slowly on my PC.
Reduce the detail depth and the screen resolution: Go with F1
into the option menu and change to tab-panel
"Display". Here you can move the sliders to the left to reduce
these attributes.
Q:I don't hear any sound, an error message "internal device error" appears.
The driver software of your sound card have presumably become obsolete. Please download actual driver software from the internet pages of the manufacturers.
